Love this one, too!

I LOVE this picture of Ben and Owen!
Some of our family pictures. Taken by my friend, Stacey Collinsworth. The building in the photos used to be a general store on a working farm in Ruston, LA...cute little spot for pictures.

New Semester

It's 2010 and we have one semester down and we're beginning a new one tomorrow. Wow, where does the time go? We are all settled back into our tiny home here in NOBTS after a nice long visit with family that included Hannah and Trent's wedding and Thanksgiving/Christmas break back home. If you are reading this...we LOVE and miss you, family!!!
Ben begins classes tomorrow, January 19th. The kids have started home school and we have just completed our first week for the 2010 school year. Katie and Garrett are now doing their school via computer. Katie is doing 7th grade work and Garrett 3rd grade. They seem to be doing fine with the challange and we are adjusting to it quite well. This frees up my time for my days with Riley and Owen who are enjoying the life of two very social toddlers, playing with friends and doing a little preschool with mom on somedays.
As of right now, we are happy to be back to seminary life and our seminary family. Nothing compares to friends that encourage you through what God is asking you to do.

Sorry

I am sorry that I haven't posted in a long while, things have been so busy around here since I started school. First, let me thank all of you who have been thinking and praying for us, we know that you are and love you all. Also, to everyone at EBC, you do not know how much the scholarship that you gave us helped with tuition, that was almost half of what we owed, I praise God for all of you. Well, just a quick description of our week. Monday, I do not have any classes, but do go to work at 11:00 am and get off at 7:00 Pm, then at 8:30, I am a part of a small men's accountability group here at the seminary. Tracy and the Kiddos do their homeschooling all day, I do get an hour for lunch and get to come home around 3:00 PM. Tuesday, I have Christian Doctrine class at 8:00 AM, then Christian Education at 9:30, go to work at 11:00, then English Grammar at 12:30 PM ( I am blessed to have a job that lets me go to class on the clock), and I get off at 7:00 PM again. We have supper, and have a few hours of family time. Wednesday, I have New Testament Survey at 9:30 AM, go to work at 11:00 AM and get off at 7:00 PM, I am going to start this wednesday night, going with a small group of men downtown to minister to Homeless and diffrent people down there, with plans on planting a homeless church, or ministry. Thursday, I have the same classes that I have on Tuesday, except that I don't have to go to work. Friday, NT survey at 9:30 again, and off again. Saturday, do something with the family, and Sunday, go to church. We have fell in love with Edgewater Baptist Church (EBC again...haha) It is a small church itself, about the same size of ours back home. We really enjoy it there. Well, everyone is well, and were all begining to adjust to New Orleans. We don't LOVE living here, but God has us here for now, for HIS GLORY. If you would, please continue to pray for us, especially Tracy, that she might be able to teach our children what God would have her, and that I may help when I can, and that I might study and learn for the Glory of Christ.

We Love and Miss everyone dearly, Ben...Soli Deo Gloria....
